Bad Boy currently offers two engine choices for the ZT Elite.

The Kohler Pro 7000 option uses a 747cc air-cooled engine rated at 26 horsepower. Meanwhile, the Kawasaki FR730V option uses a 726cc air-cooled engine rated at 24 horsepower.

Both engine choices are offered with the current 48-, 54-, and 60-inch deck sizes.
