Bobcat CT2025, CT2035 & CT2040 Hardtop Cab 40455

Keep working when rain, snow, sleet, and cold wind arrive. Original Tractor Cab 40455 is a fully enclosed hardtop cab made for compatible Bobcat CT2025, CT2035, and CT2040 compact tractors.

A molded ABS plastic hardtop gives you solid cover from above. Meanwhile, clear shatter-resistant Lexan doors and a clear rear curtain help keep the work area in view.

Better yet, Cab 40455 includes a safety glass windshield and an electric windshield wiper. As a result, you get a complete front window system for wet and snowy work.

Most of all, this Bobcat tractor cab adds useful weather cover to three compact tractors made for year-round property work.

Original Tractor Cab 40455 for Bobcat Compact Tractors

The Bobcat CT2025, CT2035, and CT2040 can handle many jobs. Owners use these compact tractors to move material, mow, clear snow, maintain drives, run PTO tools, and care for land.

However, an open operator station leaves the driver exposed. So, Cab 40455 surrounds much of the operator area with a hard roof and clear weather panels.

That extra cover can make bad-weather work much easier to face.

Fits Bobcat CT2025, CT2035 and CT2040

Original Tractor Cab designed Cab 40455 for compatible Bobcat CT2025, CT2035, and CT2040 tractors.

Therefore, this is not a loose universal enclosure. Its feet, posts, ROPS brackets, doors, rear curtain, front panel, top frame, windshield, and roof form a model-fit system.

Always confirm your exact tractor before you order.

Important Step Plate Fit Warning

Cab 40455 will not fit Bobcat tractors equipped with the longer step plate with tubing. This fit point is important.

Therefore, inspect the step area before ordering the cab. Compare your tractor with the current product photos and installation guide.

Do not force the enclosure onto an incompatible step setup.

Check Your Bobcat Before You Buy

Tractors can change over time. In addition, a prior owner may have added or changed steps, lights, controls, hydraulic parts, seats, or other equipment.

So, check the complete tractor before placing an order. If the step plate or another part looks different from the standard setup, confirm fit first.

Correct fit is more important than appearance alone.

Fully Enclosed ABS Hardtop Cab

Cab 40455 gives the operator more weather cover than a simple overhead canopy. The ABS roof covers the top while the windshield, doors, front panel, and rear curtain help enclose the operator area.

As a result, the cab can reduce direct exposure to normal rain, snow, sleet, and wind.

Still, it is not a sealed or heated operator compartment.

Molded ABS Plastic Roof

A molded ABS plastic top forms the roof of Cab 40455. The hardtop holds its basic shape and gives you firm overhead weather cover.

Therefore, it helps block direct rain, falling snow, sleet, and overhead sun. Unlike a fabric top, the hard roof does not depend on fabric tension for its shape.

The roof is not a certified safety structure.

Safety Glass Windshield Is Included

Cab 40455 includes a safety glass windshield. You do not need to buy the front glass as a separate upgrade.

Glass gives the operator a durable forward viewing surface. In addition, it works with the included electric windshield wiper.

Keep the glass clean before every job.

Electric Windshield Wiper Is Included

An electric wiper kit also comes with Cab 40455. Therefore, the wiper can help clear normal rain, wet snow, and moisture from the safety glass windshield.

Good visibility is still the operator's job. Stop the tractor if weather, dirt, ice, fog, or snow blocks your view.

Never work when you cannot see the area ahead.

Clear Shatter-Resistant Lexan Doors

Cab 40455 uses clear shatter-resistant Lexan plastic in the door areas. That clear material helps close the sides while keeping much of the work area visible.

This matters during loader work, mowing, snow removal, and jobs near buildings or trees.

Always look around the tractor before moving.

Clear Rear Curtain

A clear rear curtain helps close the back of the operator area. Meanwhile, the transparent panel helps you see equipment and obstacles behind the tractor.

That view is useful when backing toward a three-point tool. It also helps when you need to watch work behind the tractor.

Turn and check the full area before reversing.

Easy-Access Hinged Doors

Cab 40455 has right and left hinged doors. Therefore, the operator can enter or leave from either side when the tractor setup allows it.

Door hardware holds the panels on the model-fit frame. Latches help keep each door closed during normal work.

Check both doors before starting the tractor.

Keep Both Exit Areas Clear

A loader, tool, or owner-added part can change the space around a tractor. So, make sure no equipment blocks safe entry or exit.

Each door should open and close as designed. Likewise, the cab should never trap the operator in the seat.

Correct any problem before use.

Model-Fit Steel Cab Frame

The enclosure uses a model-fit steel support system. Cab parts include front feet, front posts, a front crossbar, rear post brackets, rear posts, boxing posts, ROPS brackets, and a top frame.

Together, these parts hold the enclosure around the Bobcat operator station.

Install each part in the correct location.

ROPS Brackets Support the Weather Cab

Right and left ROPS brackets form part of the Cab 40455 mounting system. However, those brackets do not turn the enclosure into rollover protection.

The factory Bobcat ROPS remains the tractor's rollover protective structure. Therefore, never drill, cut, weld, bend, or weaken it to install the cab.

Follow all Bobcat ROPS and seat-belt rules.

Designed Around Existing Tractor Mounting Areas

Cab 40455 uses model-specific tractor locations for its support system. For example, the front feet mount at the step area while the rear frame connects around the ROPS.

Therefore, careful bracket placement is vital. Do not move mounting points simply to make a panel line up.

Use the current instructions for the complete installation.

Minor Mat Trim Is Part of Installation

The current installation instructions call for a small tab in the rubber floor mat area to be cut so the mat can lay flat around the cab foot.

This is different from cutting the tractor frame or ROPS. Still, follow the current Cab 40455 guide before making any change.

Never cut a tractor safety structure.

Remove Vinyl Panels Before Open-Trailer Transport

Original Tractor Cab gives an important transport warning for Cab 40455. Remove the vinyl panels before hauling the tractor on an open truck or trailer.

High road speed creates far more air force than normal tractor use. Therefore, leaving flexible panels installed during open transport can damage the enclosure.

Store removed panels safely before travel.

Inspect the Cab After Transport

Check the cab frame and hardware after the tractor has been moved. Next, make sure each panel, latch, bracket, and fastener remains secure.

Road vibration can expose loose hardware. So, fix any issue before using the tractor again.

Never operate with a loose cab part.

Bobcat CT2025 Snow Cab Protection

The CT2025 can work with a loader and many three-point tools. As a result, owners often keep this compact tractor busy after summer ends.

Cab 40455 helps reduce direct exposure to blowing snow and cold wind. Meanwhile, the included glass windshield and wiper help maintain the forward view.

That makes the enclosure well suited to winter property work.

Bobcat CT2035 Weather Protection

The CT2035 adds more engine power while keeping the compact 2000 Platform size. Therefore, it can handle demanding property jobs through more of the year.

Rain and snow do not make an open tractor comfortable. So, Cab 40455 gives the operator useful cover from normal weather.

The enclosure does not make severe weather safe.

Bobcat CT2040 Winter Cab

The CT2040 brings nearly 40 gross horsepower to the 2000 Platform. That power can support loader work, mowing, driveway care, and other property tasks.

However, more tractor power does not protect the driver from winter wind. Cab 40455 adds a barrier around much of the operator station.

Dress for the outdoor temperature even when using the cab.

Rain Protection for Property Work

A passing rain shower can arrive before a job is complete. The hard roof, windshield, doors, and rear curtain help reduce the amount of direct rain that reaches the operator.

Yet the enclosure is not waterproof. Wind-driven water can still enter through normal openings and seams.

Stop work during unsafe storms.

Protection From Sleet and Cold Wind

Sleet and winter wind can make open-station tractor work unpleasant. Therefore, Cab 40455 helps place a physical barrier between the operator and much of that weather.

The enclosure can also reduce direct wind around the seat. Still, it does not include heat or climate control.

Take warm-up breaks when needed.

Overhead Sun Protection

The ABS roof can also reduce direct overhead sun. So, the hardtop provides useful shade even when cold-weather protection is not the main concern.

However, an enclosure can become hot in warm weather. Use the cab only as directed and watch the operator for heat stress.

Stop work if heat becomes unsafe.

Cab 40455 Is Not Certified Hail Protection

The hard ABS roof provides overhead weather cover. However, it is not a certified hail or falling-object protective structure.

Therefore, move to proper shelter when severe hail, lightning, or damaging wind approaches.

Do not remain outside because the tractor has a hardtop.

Not Rollover or Collision Protection

Cab 40455 is a weather enclosure. It does not protect the operator from injuries caused by a rollover, collision, or other accident.

Likewise, the cab frame does not replace the factory ROPS. Keep the ROPS in the correct operating position and use the seat belt as Bobcat directs.

Never treat the enclosure as a safety cage.

Not Certified Debris Protection

The doors and rear curtain help block normal weather. Yet they are not certified guards against rocks, broken tools, branches, mower discharge, or other flying debris.

Therefore, keep every factory machine guard in place. Also, keep people away from active attachment work areas.

Cab panels do not remove machine hazards.

Keep the Windshield and Panels Clear

Mud, snow, ice, and dust can reduce visibility. So, clean the safety glass and clear plastic panels as needed.

Use safe cleaning methods on the Lexan material. Harsh cleaners or abrasive dirt can damage clear plastic.

Good visibility is vital for safe tractor use.

Bobcat CT2025, CT2035 & CT2040 Tractor Specifications

The CT2025, CT2035, and CT2040 belong to Bobcat's 2000 Platform compact tractor family.

These tractors combine four-wheel drive, a Category 1 three-point hitch, rear PTO power, power steering, and an integrated loader joystick. However, engine power and transmission choices vary by model.

Always use the specifications for your exact tractor.

Bobcat CT2025 Specifications

The CT2025 is the lowest-horsepower model in this Cab 40455 fit group. Bobcat rates it at 24.5 gross horsepower.

Its three-cylinder diesel engine has about 100 cubic inches of displacement. In addition, Bobcat offers hydrostatic and manual-shift versions.

That gives owners two ways to match the tractor to their work style.

CT2025 Hydrostatic Transmission

The hydrostatic CT2025 uses an infinite three-range hydrostatic transmission. Therefore, the operator can vary travel speed without shifting through a normal set of gears.

Bobcat lists 21.8 PTO horsepower for the hydrostatic model.

Hydrostatic drive can work well for loader jobs and tasks with frequent speed changes.

CT2025 Manual Transmission

The manual CT2025 uses a 9-forward and 3-reverse transmission. Bobcat lists 22.2 PTO horsepower for this version.

So, both CT2025 transmission choices share the same 24.5 gross engine horsepower while PTO output differs slightly.

Choose parts by the exact transmission model.

CT2025 Three-Point Lift Capacity

Bobcat lists three-point lift capacity at 1,631 pounds measured 24 inches behind the lift point.

That capacity supports many Category 1 implements. However, implement weight, tractor balance, ballast, and operating conditions still matter.

Never exceed Bobcat limits.

CT2025 Loader Capacity

Current Bobcat data lists front-end loader lift capacity at maximum height at 1,369 pounds for the CT2025.

Maximum lift height to the bucket pivot pin is listed at 95 inches.

Use the specifications for the exact loader installed on your tractor.

CT2025 Hydraulic System

Bobcat lists total hydraulic flow at 11.4 gallons per minute. Of that amount, implement flow is 6.9 gallons per minute and steering flow is 4.5 gallons per minute.

This hydraulic system supports steering and tractor implement work.

Keep hydraulic oil clean and at the correct level.

CT2025 Size and Weight

Bobcat lists the CT2025 operating weight at about 2,634 pounds. Current specifications show a 66-inch wheelbase and about 62.4 inches of width.

Ground clearance is listed at 11.7 inches. Meanwhile, fuel capacity is 9 gallons.

Attachments and Cab 40455 add to working weight.

Bobcat CT2035 Specifications

The CT2035 steps up to 34.9 gross horsepower. Its three-cylinder diesel engine has about 111 cubic inches of displacement.

Therefore, the CT2035 gives owners more engine power while staying within Bobcat's 2000 Platform.

It remains a compact property tractor.

CT2035 PTO Horsepower

Bobcat lists 29.4 PTO horsepower for the current hydrostatic CT2035.

The rear PTO runs at 540 rpm. As a result, the tractor can power many compatible Category 1 PTO implements.

Match every tool to the tractor's limits.

CT2035 Three-Point Hitch Capacity

The CT2035 also provides 1,631 pounds of three-point lift capacity at 24 inches behind the lift point.

Hydraulic position control helps the operator set the three-point hitch at a chosen position.

Follow Bobcat instructions for each implement.

CT2035 Loader Lift Capacity

Bobcat lists front-end loader lift capacity at maximum height at 1,389 pounds for the CT2035.

Maximum lift height to the bucket pivot pin is listed at 100 inches. Therefore, the CT2035 can lift higher than the CT2025 with the listed loader setup.

Ballast remains important during loader work.

CT2035 Hydraulic Flow

Total hydraulic flow is listed at 11.4 gallons per minute. Implement flow is 6.9 gallons per minute while steering flow is 4.5 gallons per minute.

That matches the basic hydraulic flow figures listed for the CT2025 and CT2040.

Service the system as Bobcat directs.

CT2035 Operating Weight

Bobcat lists CT2035 operating weight at about 3,005 pounds. The wheelbase is 66 inches, while current width is listed at about 62.4 inches.

Fuel capacity is 9 gallons. Ground clearance is listed at 11.7 inches.

Actual equipped weight will be higher with tools and ballast.

Bobcat CT2040 Specifications

The CT2040 is the highest-horsepower tractor in the Cab 40455 group. Bobcat rates the current model at 39.6 gross horsepower.

Its three-cylinder diesel has about 111 cubic inches of displacement. Rated engine speed is 2,600 rpm on current factory data.

That power supports demanding compact tractor work.

CT2040 PTO Horsepower

Bobcat lists the current hydrostatic CT2040 at 31.9 PTO horsepower.

The rear PTO runs at 540 rpm. In addition, current specifications list a 1,988 rpm mid PTO.

Use only compatible PTO equipment.

CT2040 Three-Point Lift Capacity

The CT2040 provides 1,631 pounds of three-point lift capacity at 24 inches behind the lift point.

Therefore, all three tractor models in this cab group share the same current listed three-point capacity.

The tool must still match the tractor.

CT2040 Loader Capacity

Current Bobcat data lists front-end loader lift capacity at maximum height at 1,389 pounds.

Maximum lift height to the bucket pivot pin is 100 inches. So, the CT2040 combines nearly 40 gross horsepower with useful loader reach.

Never lift beyond the rated capacity.

CT2040 Hydrostatic Drive

The current CT2040 uses an infinite three-range hydrostatic transmission.

That design gives the operator smooth speed control for loader work, mowing, snow removal, and other jobs with frequent changes in travel speed.

Select a safe range before work begins.

Earlier CT2040 Transmission Choices

Earlier CT2040 tractors were also offered with a manual 9-forward and 3-reverse transmission.

Therefore, used CT2040 tractors may not match the transmission shown on a current sales page. Always identify the actual tractor before ordering service parts.

Cab fit must also be confirmed on the actual machine.

CT2040 Size and Weight

Current Bobcat specifications list operating weight at about 3,005 pounds. Width is about 62.4 inches and wheelbase is 66 inches.

Ground clearance is listed at 11.7 inches. Fuel capacity is 9 gallons.

A loader, ballast, implements, and Cab 40455 increase total working weight.

Four-Wheel Drive

Bobcat's 2000 Platform uses four-wheel drive. This can improve traction during loader work, snow removal, and work on loose surfaces.

However, four-wheel drive does not make a steep, icy, or unstable surface safe.

Operate for the actual ground conditions.

Category 1 Three-Point Hitch

The CT2025, CT2035, and CT2040 use a Category 1 three-point hitch.

This common hitch size gives owners access to many compatible property tools. Examples can include rear blades, box blades, finish mowers, tillers, and other approved implements.

Check tool weight before use.

540 RPM Rear PTO

A rear 540 rpm PTO adds more tool choices. Therefore, the tractors can run many compatible powered implements when equipped and operated correctly.

Keep all PTO shields and guards in place.

Stop the engine before servicing PTO equipment.

Power Steering

Bobcat equips the 2000 Platform with power steering. As a result, steering effort stays manageable during jobs with many turns.

That is especially useful with a front loader. Still, operators should slow down before tight turns.

Safe speed always matters.

Integrated Loader Joystick

An integrated loader joystick places loader control within easy reach. Therefore, the operator can control compatible front-loader functions from the tractor seat.

After Cab 40455 is installed, test all joystick and loader movement for clear operation.

No cab part should block a tractor control.

Wet Multi-Disc Brakes

Bobcat lists wet multi-disc brakes for these 2000 Platform tractors.

The braking system still needs normal inspection and service. So, never operate a tractor with a known brake fault.

Follow the Bobcat maintenance schedule.

Bobcat 2000 Platform Work Range

Bobcat describes these tractors as machines for digging, hauling, clearing, mowing, and maintaining property.

That broad work range explains why weather protection can matter. A tractor that works in several seasons can put the operator in sun, rain, wind, and snow.

Cab 40455 helps add weather cover to that work.

The History of Original Tractor Cab Company

Original Tractor Cab began in 1939. Indiana farmer Stanley Williams needed better cover from the weather while he worked on his own tractor.

So, Stanley designed a cab for his machine. Other farmers soon saw the idea and wanted weather protection too.

A simple solution on one farm became a business.

Born From a Real Farm Need

Stanley understood outdoor work because he did it himself. Rain, cold, snow, wind, and sun could make a long tractor job hard.

Therefore, his first cab solved a real problem. It gave the operator more cover without changing the basic purpose of the tractor.

Other farmers quickly saw its value.

A Farm Magazine Ad Helps Build the Company

Interest in Stanley's cab began to spread. Then, he placed a small advertisement in a farming magazine.

The response showed that tractor operators in other places had the same need. As a result, Stanley started a company to make cabs for major tractor brands of the time.

Original Tractor Cab traces its start to 1939.

American Manufacturing Takes Root

The early business focused on practical products for people who worked outside.

Equipment changed through the years. However, weather remained part of the job.

That simple fact helped shape the company's future.

Original Tractor Cab During World War II

World War II changed normal production. During the war, Original Tractor Cab used its manufacturing skills to make canvas items for the war effort.

Afterward, the company returned its focus to tractors and outdoor equipment. New machines soon created new opportunities for weather protection.

The company continued to grow.

Snowblower Cabs Arrive in the 1960s

Stanley's son Robert Williams later saw another problem. People using walk-behind snowblowers faced cold wind and blowing snow with little cover.

Therefore, Robert designed and patented a cab for walk-behind snowblowers during the 1960s. Soon after, the company added cabs for lawn and garden tractors.

The product range had moved beyond farm tractors.

More Equipment Brings More Weather Products

Outdoor power equipment kept changing. Garden tractors, lawn tractors, compact tractors, snowblowers, and zero-turn mowers became more common.

So, Original Tractor Cab developed products for more types of machines. Model-fit enclosures became an important part of the company's work.

Cab 40455 follows that same idea today.

Sunshades Add Summer Protection

Cold weather was not the only problem. Direct summer sun could also make outdoor work hard.

In the early 1990s, Robert's son Wayne Williams designed and patented a sunshade for tractors and lawn and garden equipment.

As a result, Original Tractor Cab could help operators in more seasons.

Three Generations of the Williams Family

Three generations of the Williams family helped carry Original Tractor Cab forward.

Each generation added ideas as outdoor equipment changed. Yet the core goal remained simple.

Build practical weather products for people who work outside.

From Early Farm Tractors to Bobcat Compact Tractors

The Bobcat CT2025, CT2035, and CT2040 are far different from Stanley Williams' tractor in 1939.

Modern tractors offer diesel power, four-wheel drive, power steering, PTO systems, hydraulic loaders, and three-point hitches. However, the person in the seat still faces rain, snow, sleet, wind, and sun.

Cab 40455 brings the original weather-cover idea to modern Bobcat compact tractors.

Made in the USA Since 1939

Original Tractor Cab remains based in Arlington, Indiana. Today, the company makes tractor cabs, mower enclosures, snowblower cabs, sunshades, and related weather protection products.

Meanwhile, direct sales give customers another way to buy from the company behind the product.

Cab 40455 carries that American manufacturing history forward.
