An ABS plastic roof adds firm cover above the seat. Also, clear, shatter-resistant plastic gives a wide view from the cab. You can see the work area while the enclosure helps block the weather.
Hinged Doors and Clear Views
Hinged doors help you enter and leave the cab with ease. Latches keep each door shut during use. Yet, the doors can come off for warm days.
Clear panels in the doors and rear curtain help you see around the tractor. In addition, the front windshield leans ahead. This shape helps limit glare and keeps more space between the screen and falling snow or rain.
The standard windshield uses clear, shatter-resistant plastic. However, you can add an optional safety glass windshield. A glass panel can also support an optional wiper kit.
No-Drill Cab Mounting
Cab 11816 uses existing mounting points on the tractor. Thus, normal installation does not call for holes in the tractor body. Most owners should plan on three to four hours for setup.
The full cab can come off as one unit in about 45 minutes. In contrast, you may remove only the doors and use the roof for shade. That choice adds value in both cold and warm months.

Cub Cadet GT2000 and GTX2000 Tractor Specifications

Original Tractor Cab began in 1939. Indiana farmer Stanley Williams needed a way to stay out of harsh weather. So, he built a cab for his own farm tractor.
Other farmers soon saw the value of his idea. Then, Stanley placed a small ad in a farm magazine. Strong demand helped his useful farm fix grow into a company.
Service During World War II
World War II changed the firm’s work for a time. The company stopped normal cab output and made packs and other goods for the military. After the war, it returned to products for farms and outdoor work.
Three Generations of American Work
