Cab Care and Safe Use
Inspect the cab before each job. Look for loose bolts, torn panels, worn straps, or damaged latches. Also, make sure the roof and frame remain firm.
Wash clear windows by hand with a soft cloth. Next, rinse away grit before you wipe the panel. This step helps reduce marks and scratches.
Remove snow from the roof before storage or travel. Heavy wet snow can add a large load. Therefore, do not let deep snow build up on the cab.
Open-Trailer Transport
High road speed can harm fabric panels and doors. Do not haul the tractor on an open trailer with the cab in place unless you use an approved transport cover and follow its guide. Wind load at road speed is far greater than normal tractor use.
Check the full loaded height before travel. Also, secure the tractor as required by law and the trailer maker. Cab parts must never serve as tie-down points.
