Does Not Fit a Straight ROPS
Older 1 Series tractors may have a straight ROPS. Cab 12110 does not fit that design. Instead, those tractors need the cab made for the straight roll bar.
Stand beside the tractor and view the ROPS uprights. A forward ROPS angles toward the front as it rises. By contrast, a straight ROPS rises with little or no forward lean.
Does Not Fit 2025 and Newer Models
John Deere changed the 1 Series ROPS setup again for model year 2025. Therefore, Cab 12110 is not the correct cab for 2025 and newer tractors. Those models need the newer cab made for that frame.
Production dates and model years can differ. So, use the tractor serial number instead of the purchase date alone. If fit is not clear, please contact Original Tractor Cab.
No-Drill Cab Installation
Cab 12110 mounts through existing tractor holes and hardware points. Thus, normal installation does not require drilling into the tractor. Never drill, cut, weld, or alter the ROPS.
Plan on less than four hours for the first installation. Many owners may need about three to four hours. Still, the exact time will depend on tools, skill, tractor condition, and added gear.

Align the Frame Before Final Tightening
Keep each fastener a bit loose during the first fit. Next, align the frame, doors, windows, and roof. Tighten the full unit only after all parts sit in the right place.
Added lights, seats, controls, or custom parts may affect fit. Therefore, check the tractor before you begin. Remove or move only the parts allowed by the tractor and cab guides.
Check All Tractor Controls
Move each control through its full safe range after installation. Also, check the steering wheel, pedals, PTO control, hitch lever, and loader joystick. No cab part should block safe control use.
Sit in the normal driving pose during the final check. Then, make sure your head, arms, and legs have safe space. Stop the engine before making any cab change.

The final tractor height is about 78 to 80 inches at the cab roof. Tires, tread, wear, air pressure, and tractor setup can change this figure. Therefore, measure your tractor after installation.

Seasonal Cab Care
Inspect the cab before each use. Look for loose hardware, torn fabric, worn straps, or damaged latches. Also, make sure the roof and frame remain firm.
Clean clear windows with mild soap, cool water, and a soft cloth. First, rinse away dust and grit. Then, wipe the panel with light pressure.
Strong cleaners may cloud or harm the clear material. Rough towels can also leave scratches. Therefore, test any care product in a small spot first.
Seasonal Removal and Reassembly
The cab can be removed when warm weather returns. Careful removal also makes later setup easier. Mark the parts and store the hardware in a dry place.
Keep clear panels flat or supported as the guide directs. Also, store the fabric away from sharp edges and heat. Clean and dry all parts before long storage.
Open-Trailer Transport
High road speed can damage cab doors and fabric panels. Do not haul the tractor on an open trailer with the cab in place unless you use an approved transport cover and follow its guide. Road wind is far stronger than normal tractor travel.
Measure the full loaded height before transport. In addition, secure the tractor with legal tie-down points. Never use the cab frame as a tie-down.
John Deere 1023E and 1025R Specifications
The John Deere 1023E and 1025R are sub-compact utility tractors. Both use a liquid-cooled, three-cylinder Yanmar diesel engine. Their small form suits mowing, loader work, snow removal, garden care, and light land jobs.
A two-range hydrostatic transmission gives smooth travel control. Separate pedals control forward and reverse motion. Plus, four-wheel drive helps on loose soil, snow, and wet grass.

Hydrostatic Drive and Four-Wheel Drive
Both tractors use a two-range hydrostatic transmission. Low range suits slow work and heavy loads. By contrast, high range serves faster travel on a clear path.
Twin foot pedals control forward and reverse travel. A differential lock can help when a rear wheel slips. Also, mechanical four-wheel drive adds grip when the site is loose or slick.
Use four-wheel drive as the tractor guide directs. Never rely on added grip to make a steep slope safe. Slow down and avoid ground that exceeds the maker’s limits.
Three-Point Hitch and Rear PTO
A limited Category 1 three-point hitch serves many small rear tools. Owners can use listed blades, spreaders, tillers, and other gear. Still, weight and fit limits vary by tool.
The rear PTO turns at 540 rpm for compatible equipment. Stop the engine before you approach a PTO shaft. The cab does not change any PTO safety rule.

Front Loader Use
