All-Weather Protection for Kubota GR Series Lawn Tractors

Rain and Sleet Protection

Wet weather can make lawn care and yard work feel harsh. Rain may soak your coat in a short time. Also, sleet can sting your face as you drive.

So, Cab 11504 adds a roof and clear panels around the operator. The hardtop helps shed rain from above. Meanwhile, the side doors and rear curtain help block wind-driven water.

Yet this cab is not a watertight room. Some air and water may enter through gaps near the tractor.

Snow Protection for Winter Chores

Snow can blow back toward the seat when you clear a drive or path. Cold wind can make the task feel much harder. So, the cab helps block much of that harsh weather.

The hard roof helps shed falling snow. Also, the clear front and side panels help shield you from blowing flakes. As a result, winter work may feel more pleasant.

Use only snow tools that fit your exact tractor. Then, check the cab and tool clearance before you start work.

Cold Wind Protection

A cold breeze can chill your hands and face. So, the enclosure helps cut direct wind near the seat.

Clear panels help block air from the front, sides and rear. Yet the cab has no built-in heat. Wear warm clothes and keep fresh air flowing.

Shade from Direct Sun

The molded hardtop can also block direct sun from above. So, it adds shade on warm days.

However, a full cab may trap heat in hot weather. Keep the enclosure well aired and take breaks as needed.

Weather Cover Has Limits

This cab helps shield you from common rain, snow, sleet and wind. Yet it cannot make severe storms safe.

Large hail and flying debris can cause harm. So, stop work and seek safe shelter when bad storms move in.

Kubota GR Series Hardtop Cab 11504 Features

Molded ABS Plastic Hardtop

Cab 11504 has a molded ABS plastic roof. It helps shed rain and snow from above. Plus, the roof adds shade from direct sun.

The hardtop uses a UV inhibitor to help it stand up to sun exposure. Yet the roof is not a guard against falling objects.

16-Gauge Steel Tube Frame

A steel tube frame gives the enclosure its shape. The 16-gauge frame holds the roof and weather panels.

So, the cab forms a firm weather cover around the operator. However, this frame is not a rollover safety structure.

Heavy-Duty Stop-Rip Vinyl Fabric

The cab uses tough stop-rip vinyl over its frame. This fabric helps resist water, wear, mildew and rot.

Also, the material helps block wind near the seat. So, it can make cold workdays less harsh.

Clear Shatter-Resistant Lexan Windows

A clear view helps when you mow near trees, sheds and fences. So, Cab 11504 uses clear Lexan plastic in the front, rear and door panels.

The material resists shattering and can stand up to very cold weather. Also, the clear panels help you watch the space nearby.

Hinged Doors with Latches

The cab has hinged side doors. So, you can open a door to enter or leave the operator area.

Door latches help keep the doors shut during use. Also, the clear door windows help with side views.

79-Inch Listed Cab Height

Original Tractor Cab lists a cab height of 79 inches. So, check the space below garage doors, shed roofs and low tree limbs.

Actual clearance may change with tire size and tractor setup. Therefore, measure the full machine after cab installation.

One-Year Limited Warranty

Original Tractor Cab offers a one-year warranty on Cab 11504. So, review the full warranty terms before you order.

The warranty does not turn the cab into a safety structure. It remains a weather enclosure for the operator.

Plus, the mower can serve lawn care and compatible snow removal jobs. So, a cab may help in more than one season.

Confirm the Exact Tractor Model

The GR Series spans several models and years. So, check the full model number before purchase.

Added seats, tools and other parts may change cab fit. Also, inspect the cab mount points and operator controls.

Kubota GR Series Cab 11504 Installation and Care

About Three to Four Hours to Install

Original Tractor Cab lists a typical installation time of three to four hours. So, plan enough time to sort the parts and check the mounts.

The time may vary with your tools and skill. Also, older tractors may need more time for fit checks.

No Drilling Needed for Standard Mounting

Cab 11504 uses holes that already exist on the listed tractor models. So, normal installation does not call for new holes.

However, use only the mount parts and steps in the cab guide. Never change factory safety parts to make the cab fit.

Use the Correct Installation Manual

Start with the full cab guide. Then, lay out the roof, frame, doors and hardware.

Follow each mount step in order. Also, check all door latches before you drive.

View our Original Tractor Cab installation manuals for cab setup and care information.

Check Mower and Snow Tool Clearance

A mower deck needs room to move. Snow tools may also need space near the tractor.

So, check all tool travel before use. Also, make sure the cab does not block the pedals, steering or levers.

Clean Lexan Windows with Care

Dirt and grit can scratch clear plastic. So, rinse off loose dirt before you wipe the panels.

Use a cleaner safe for Lexan. Also, avoid harsh chemicals and rough cloths.

Check Frame Mounts and Door Latches

Loose hardware can cause wear. So, check the cab mounts from time to time.

Keep the door latches in good shape. Also, look for worn or torn weather panels.

Prepare the Cab for Open Transport

High wind during transport can harm soft cab panels. So, follow the cab manual before hauling the tractor.

Remove panels when the guide calls for it. Then, store them in a clean and dry place.

Kubota GR2100 Engine and Drive

The Kubota GR2100 uses a three-cylinder diesel engine. Its rated gross power is about 21 horsepower.

The GR2100 has hydrostatic drive. Plus, its Glide Steer system helps with tight turns while mowing.

The diesel engine gives this model a different fuel and service setup from the gas GR2000.

Kubota GR2010 Engine and Drive

The Kubota GR2010 is a gas-powered lawn and garden tractor. It uses a hydrostatic drive for ground speed.

The GR2010 also belongs to the Glide Steer mower family. So, it can make tight turns near lawn edges.

Engine ratings may vary by model year. Therefore, use the exact tractor manual for service data.

Kubota GR2110 Engine and Drive

The Kubota GR2110 is a diesel garden tractor. It uses a three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine.

The mower decks use three blades. Also, the listed cutting height range runs from 1 to 4 inches.

A hydraulic lift raises the mower deck. Plus, cutting height adjusts in quarter-inch steps.

Kubota GR2020 Gas Engine Specifications

The Kubota GR2020 is a later GR Series gas-powered mower. Kubota lists the GR2020G with a 20.5-horsepower Kohler engine.

The engine has two cylinders and uses air cooling. Also, the tractor has hydrostatic drive.

The GR2020 is not part of the five-model fit list on this Cab 11504 product page. So, confirm cab fit before purchase.

Kubota GR Series Glide Steer System

Kubota designed Glide Steer to help GR tractors turn in tight spaces. So, the mower can work near trees and lawn edges.

The system helps reduce the need for wide turns. Also, it can help the operator work around yard features.

Kubota GR Series Hydrostatic Transmission

Hydrostatic drive lets the operator vary ground speed with ease. So, it suits mowing and yard work.

The operator can slow down near trees or tight spaces. Then, speed can rise on open ground.

Kubota GR Series Mower Decks

The GR Series uses compatible mid-mount mower decks. Deck sizes vary by model and year.

Kubota lists 48-inch and 54-inch decks for later GR models. So, check the exact mower deck before you order blades or belts.

Kubota GR Series Snow Removal

Some GR Series tractors can use compatible snow tools. Kubota lists a 48-inch front blade and a 46-inch two-stage snowblower among GR accessories.

So, these machines may help clear snow from a drive or path. Yet tool fit varies by model.

Cab 11504 can help shield the operator from blowing snow and cold wind. Also, clear windows help with the front view.

Kubota lists the later GR2020G and GR2120 at 77.2 inches long in its published GR Series guide.

The GR2020G weighs about 871 pounds with a 48-inch mower. Meanwhile, the GR2120 weighs about 970 pounds with a 54-inch mower.

These figures apply to the listed model and mower setups. So, do not use them as exact weights for older GR tractors.

The History of Original Tractor Cab Company Since 1939

One Farmer Had a Simple Idea

Original Tractor Cab began in 1939. At that time, farmer Stanley Williams needed more cover from harsh weather while he worked.

So, Stanley made a cab for his own tractor. It helped shield him from rain, wind and cold.

Other farmers soon saw his new cab. They too had to work in bad weather.

So, they asked for the same kind of cover. That first cab became the start of Original Tractor Cab Co., Inc.

From One Cab to a Family Business

Stanley knew how hard farm work could be. He also knew how cold and wet the job could feel.

So, he kept making useful cab designs. More farmers saw the value of weather cover.

As demand grew, the company grew as well. Yet its main goal stayed much the same.

Help people work with less harsh weather on their bodies.

Original Tractor Cab During World War II

World War II brought new needs for goods and supplies. So, Original Tractor Cab changed its work to help the war effort.

The company made backpacks and other needed military goods. This work showed the range of its manufacturing skills.

After the war, the company went back to making weather covers for farm and outdoor work.

New Cabs for Lawn and Garden Equipment

Outdoor machines changed as the years went by. Lawn tractors and snowblowers became more common.

So, Original Tractor Cab added new products for these machines. The company grew beyond its first farm tractor cabs.

More homeowners and grounds crews could now add weather cover to the machines they used.

Sunshades for Warm Weather Work

Cold weather was not the only concern. Hot sun could also make long days hard.

So, the company added sunshades to its product range. These shades help block direct sun from above.

As a result, Original Tractor Cab could help more operators through the year.

Three Generations of American Manufacturing

The Williams family carried the company forward through three generations. Each generation brought new ideas and products.

Yet the core goal stayed the same. Make useful weather covers for people who work outdoors.

Today, the company makes hardtop cabs, soft enclosures, sunshades and cab parts. Plus, its products serve many types of outdoor equipment.

Made in Arlington, Indiana

Original Tractor Cab is based in Arlington, Indiana. We take pride in our long history of American manufacturing.

Our products help farmers, homeowners and grounds crews work with more comfort. So, we keep making weather covers for the machines they use.

Cab 11504 Carries on the Tradition

The Kubota GR Series came long after Stanley made his first cab. Yet the need for weather cover remains.

Rain still falls. Snow still blows. Cold wind can still make work feel long.

So, Cab 11504 brings that same basic idea to select Kubota GR lawn tractors.
